Money Saving Tips

I have learned to be very frugal with our money. I would like to share some of these tips with you.

This website didn't cost me a DIME...... AWESOME !

When I have leftovers, (meat, broth, rice, beans, mashed potatoes and etc.) especially tiny portions that you would usually throw out or feed the pets I freeze them. I have a container about 2 qts. that I use. When it is full I make a HUGE pot of soup. Sometimes I add a can of beans or mixed veggies to round it out. I make sweet cornbread and we have a very filling and nutritious meal from yes  LEFTOVERS that would have been thrown away!

I make my children's and husband lunch every day. The kids hate school lunch anyway! I shop for deals on sandwich stuff and extras. I end up saving at least HALF or more on what I would have spent and it is much healthier TOO !

Every week I check the grocery circulars for really good deals on food. If its amazingly great I stock up. Leg quarters for 19 cents ! WOW and yes I stocked up BIG! 2 for one sales and marked down meat saves up $$$$ as well. I have found a store where I can buy bread for 39 cents and its fresh (not day old)!

I love yard sales but I have had to learn to be very selective on what I bring home. To much clutter can do more harm than good. I do LOVE getting a great deal!

Can't you just smell the potpourri !
